A Bit About Us
TIOMAN REEF DIVERS (TRD) is the very first NAUI diving centre in Tioman Island in which was established and started its operation ever since the year of 1992.
Over the years, thousands of divers have come and enjoyed the warm welcoming hospitality that has been provided by the diving centre.
We have friendly Chinese, English, Japanese and Malay speaking dive guides and staff members who are always happy to give you all the guidance and information during your stay in Tioman Island.
Diving Season
March to October
The diving season in Tioman Island starts from early March to end of October and the water temperature ranges from 26 to 32 degrees Celsius and visibility ranges from 8m to 25m.
Currents are generally light, about 1 to 3 knots. The North - East monsoon starts from mid-November to February and during this period most diving operations stop because the sea can be rough.
Where are we?
We are stationed at Kampung Tekek, main village in Tioman Island. The island is located 32 kilometres off the east coast of Pahang, Malaysia in the South-China Sea.
On the near the end of Kampung Tekek, we are 15-minute away by foot from the main jetty. There are several accommodations to choose from and plenty of restaurants within walking distance. You will also be able to walk to local shops and duty free store.
