A Bit About Us
TIOMAN REEF DIVERS (TRD) is proud to be the very first NAUI diving centre established on Tioman Island.
Over the years, we have welcomed thousands of divers who have enjoyed our warm hospitality.
Our friendly dive guides and staff members, who speak Chinese, English, Japanese, and Malay, are always happy to provide you with guidance and information during your stay on Tioman Island.
Diving Season
March to October
The diving season on Tioman Island runs from early March to the end of October, with water temperatures ranging from 26 to 32 degrees Celsius and visibility between 8 to 25 meters.
Currents are typically light, ranging from 1 to 3 knots. From mid-November to February, the North-East monsoon occurs, often causing rough seas that halt most diving operations.
Where are we?
Our dive centre is located in Kampung Tekek, the main village on Tioman Island, which lies 32 kilometres off the east coast of Pahang, Malaysia, in the South China Sea.
We're conveniently situated near the end of Kampung Tekek, just a 15-minute walk from the main jetty. There are numerous accommodation options and a variety of restaurants within walking distance. You'll also find local shops and a duty-free store nearby.
