NAUI SCUBA DIVING COURSE

Begin your underwater explorations by enrolling in a NAUI Scuba Diver class. This is our entry-level certification course where you will learn the fundamental knowledge and skills to safety dive in open water. Earning your NAUI Scuba Diver Certification card is an accomplishment for which you will rightfully feel proud and you will be ready to begin a lifetime of underwater adventures and discovering.

During your NAUI Scuba Diver class, you will learn about modern dive equipment, diving sciences, responsible diving practices and the environment. The course will begin with video lessons and physical lessons taught in a classroom environment, involving basic theory of scuba diving. This followed by snorkeling and finally, you will begin the open water training dives. The instructor will guide you through the skills needed to make sure that you are comfortable in the water and with your equipment.

What is included:

  • Confined water (3-4 shore dives), Open water dives (2 boat dives) & 1 fun boat dive

  • Diving theory, practical & full diving equipment rental.

  • NAUI Openwater textbook, logbook & dive table.

NAUI Open Water Scuba Diver Course

Notice:

​

  • Before check-in/ after check-out from the resort, your luggage can be kept in the Tioman Reef Divers office while you are diving.

Package (2022)

Continue your training by enrolling in the NAUI Advanced Diver Course to explore new dive sites with deeper depths, under the supervision of a NAUI Instructor. This course allows divers to learn about additional underwater skills, low visibility and deep diving. 
 

During the training, students would complete a minimum of six boat dives, which includes diving navigation, night diving, and deep diving (30 meters of maximum depth).

  • Check in : 3pm

  • Check out : 12pm

  • Early check in (before 12pm) : RM30/per room

  • Extension

    • up to 2pm : RM30/per room 

    • up to 4pm : additional 50% charge per room

    • after 4pm :  full amount per room

  • Before check in or after check out, you may leave your luggage at the dive shop.

  • Additional RM10/pax per night surcharge during public holiday & eve and school holiday.

What is included :

  • Full diving equipment rental, NAUI Openwater textbook, dive table, certificate and license card.

  • Daily Meals (3 breakfast, 3 lunch & 3 dinner) at Babura restaurant.

  • Transportation from Tekek jetty to resort and return.

What is NOT included :

  • Ferry ticket to and fro Mersing/ Tanjung Gemok.

  • Marine Park Fee :

    • RM5/pax for local 

    • RM30/pax for foreigner                                    

  • Tourism Tax for foreigner : RM10/room per night

What is included :

  • NAUI Openwater course.

  • Accomodation (4 days, 3 nights).

  • Daily Meals (3 breakfast, 3 lunch & 3 dinner) at Babura restaurant.

  • Transportation from Tekek jetty to resort and return.

What is NOT included :

  • Ferry ticket to and fro Mersing/ Tanjung Gemok.
